These RILabs will drive innovation, covering

  • different biogeographical zones of Europe
  • available sensor data & products

WATER PRODUCTIVITY

Development and demonstration of a service prototype for the early prediction and early detection of drought stress.

Recommendations for optimal irrigation regimes.

CROP MANAGEMENT

Unlock the potential of a variety of data for expanding SF services and enabling monitoring of sustainability performance for policy purposes at European-wide level.

YIELD MONITORING

Unlock the potential of yield data from harvesters from European-wide yield monitoring.

Estimate crop productivity.

Optimize crop production in a sustainable way.

SOIL HEALTH

Perform research and validate innovative concepts that allow the development of EO-based products on soil health and quality assessment.

Experiment with sensor data and edge computing concepts related to soil fertility.

GRASSLANDS

Improve the monitoring of grasslands with products specifically tailored for this ecosystem.

DAIRY

Integrate EO data, focusing on animal feed crops, with in-situ sensor data.

Gather meaningful data and develop services for the dairy chain that facilitate agri-environmental monitoring and planning, and improve overall efficiency.
